It didn’t take long to know we were in the right hands. Mike and Rick both made us feel genuinely welcome and that feeling never waned. The use of the range proved invaluable and the lodge was more than I anticipated. It doesn’t matter if you’re a first timer or an experienced hunter. All you had to do was “trust the guide”. I have been hunting since I was old enough to walk. Primarily whitetail and ducks in the Southeast and Midwest. I have had a Colorado Elk hunt on my bucket list for years. Mike Dill was recommended from a friend. Mike was excellent from the beginning. The instructions on travel and the tags was spot on. The location and hospitality was exceptional. And his guide skills, expertise, and temperament were excellent. He is an absolute pro and I recommend him for anyone from beginner to expert.

We were not disappointed. The first lessons about hunting Elk on the Ranch were invaluable and introduced us to not only new tactics, but precision weapons that performed flawlessly. We have a lifetime of memories to tap into already with all the hunting we have done together, but this is one was special…..not to mention 2 freezers full of prime elk meat.

The Hunt on Zeppelin Ranch exceeded my expectations. We arrived to amazing accommodations fully stocked with food and drink then headed out to the Rifle Range which goes out to 1000 yards. On the evening of day three I got an amazing hunt and Bull that now is in my living room. Thank you Mike and the team at Zeppelin Hunting for making a dream come true.

What I really liked was how Michael allowed us to hunt. We are all pretty experienced hunters, so we really wanted their help finding the animals and to do the rest ourselves.
